Turning Hope Into Action – One Project at a Time

Swimming

We have a partnership with the German School Nairobi. Our fourth class is allowed to take swimming lessons there every week.

Kids lab

The children from our third grade visit the German School from time to time to do science activities.

Computerlab

In our school we have a computer lab where students learn how to use a computer, how to type correctly and much more.

Scouting-Club

The boys and girls can join the scout group, where they learn to be responsible citizens and protect nature at the same time.

Agricultural project

We have a agricultural project with the children in line with the competency based curiculum (CBC)

Soccer

We have soccer teams for boys and girls where children can discover their talent.

Chess

A chess teacher comes to school every Wednesday and pupils who want to can take part in the chess lessons. Sometimes there are also tournaments in which the pupils can take part. The German School makes this project possible for us by paying the teacher.

Excursions

Every now and then we take the children on excursions so that they can leave school and their familiar surroundings behind.

FEDA for Kenya

The main objective of FEDA for Kenya is to provide material resources for the Starkid School and to promote cultural exchange between the trainees of FEDA Madrid, the students of the Starkid School and the German School in Nairobi.
